#KidsInConflict: NFT Charity Fund

I couldn’t be prouder to present our #KidsInConflict charity initiative and together with you play a part in helping children displaced by the war in Ukraine.

Last year I started a collaboration with the Ukrainian Design Studio Kofta and we created a line of leather backpacks expanding on the afrofuturist aesthetics of my album Figurine. We managed to make only one sample piece before the war started and at the moment it’s extremely unclear whether we’ll ever be able to finish a full run.

This one piece represents the journey of those who had to quickly pack up and leave their lives behind, with nothing but a backpack. And nobody is more vulnerable and needs more help than children trapped in a warzone.

Together with my team at iindyverse we auctioned a 1-of-1 backpack, and an open edition collection of NFTs from visual artists The Dons, Mara and Ev3reth for 60-hours only — each of whom created an interpretation of the symbol behind the backpack. 100% of the proceeds will go to charity Unchain.fund

Every NFT sale came with a brand new song from me called “Echo Of A Voice” which is not available anywhere else.
